Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Dive into the heart of Marrakech

Your Morocco honeymoon begins the moment you land at Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK). A private transfer and friendly guide will meet you — you’ll be escorted to your riad in the heart of the medina, offered welcome tea and Moroccan pastries, and given a short orientation. Typical transfer time from the airport to the medina is around 15–30 minutes depending on traffic and your flight arrival time.
In the evening, your guide will take you to the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Here you can wander the maze-like alleys, get lost among souk stalls, and sample freshly squeezed orange juice while watching street performers. The medina can be busy and uneven underfoot — if mobility is a concern we recommend notifying us in advance so we can arrange gentler routes or a private tour vehicle.
Dinner tonight is a relaxed three-course meal — fresh salad, a classic tagine, and fruit — at one of Marrakech’s recommended restaurants. If you prefer a private riad dinner, or have dietary needs (vegetarian, halal, allergies), let us arrange it. Overnight at your chosen riad or hotel in Marrakech.
Day 2: Explore the history of Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy a guided historical tour of Marrakech. Start at the peaceful Majorelle Gardens (plan 45–60 minutes), then move on to the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque for photos. Continue to the Saadian Tombs and the ornate Bahia Palace — expect light walking and many photo stops over approximately 3–4 hours. Your guide will explain the city’s architecture and the layers of history that make Marrakech a world-class cultural destination.
Day 3: A cooking class in Marrakech

Day 3 is centered on Moroccan food and hands-on learning. In the late morning your guide will accompany you to the souk to select fresh ingredients (allow 60–90 minutes). Then, under an expert chef’s instruction, take part in a cooking class where you’ll prepare classic tagines and other regional dishes — vegetarian options available on request. Sit down together to enjoy your meal, a satisfying culinary experience and a memorable part of your trip.
Day 4: The tranquility of the Ourika Valley

This morning you’ll escape the city for a scenic day trip to the Ourika Valley in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Expect a relaxed drive (approximately 45–75 minutes depending on traffic) through argan and olive groves to gardens bursting with saffron and fruit trees. Spend time at Kasbah Bab Ourika — a recommended hotel and spa where you can unwind by the pool, enjoy a Berber-style lunch, or book a couple’s treatment at the spa. The setting is ideal for romantic photos of the Atlas Mountains and palm-lined valleys.
Day 5: Journey to the coast — Essaouira

After breakfast you’ll depart Marrakech and head west toward the Atlantic coast. The drive to Essaouira takes about 2.5–3.5 hours depending on stops; you’ll pass small roadside towns and occasional Berber villages, and may cross the rocky Agafay plains en route. Essaouira’s relaxed, blue-and-white medina, expansive beach, and fishing harbor make it a refreshing contrast to Marrakech — perfect for seaside strolls, shell-filled sunsets, and fresh seafood lunches by the water.
Day 6: At leisure in Essaouira

Spend the day as you like: wander the medina and artisan workshops (notably thuya woodworking), relax on the beach, or choose from optional activities such as horseback riding in nearby Sidi Kaouki, quad biking, or a gentle camel trek along the shore. Sample Essaouira’s renowned seafood at a fish-grill cafe overlooking the sea, and don’t miss the historic Mellah and Orson Welles Square. Practical tip: bring layers — Atlantic breezes can be cool in the afternoon.
Day 7: Return to Marrakech

This morning, you’ll travel back toward Marrakech. The drive is scenic, winding out of the argan forests and across open plains, and takes approximately 3 hours depending on traffic and stops.
Back in Marrakech, you can ease into the evening with a traditional Moroccan hammam experience—a soothing way to refresh after days of sightseeing. For dinner, consider the vibrant Chez Ali show for a theatrical finale, featuring a lavish meal paired with Berber dancing, horsemanship displays, and colorful cultural performances. Ask your guide about reservations and show schedules in advance, as availability can vary by season.
Day 8: Goodbye, Morocco
On your final morning, enjoy breakfast at your riad and check out at a time suited to your flight. We’ll arrange a timely transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your return flight home; please let us know your flight time so we can confirm the best departure time and avoid airport traffic. Safe travels — and if you loved this taste of Morocco, ask about extending your trip with a Sahara desert camp overnight, hot air balloon flight over the plains, or a private tour of the High Atlas.

"The absolute perfect honeymoon itinerary. We loved having our own private driver—it felt so exclusive compared to being crammed on a tour bus with 30 strangers. Sleeping under a canvas of a million stars in a luxury desert tent, and then waking up to a private breakfast overlooking the Atlantic ocean a few days later was priceless. If you want a luxury honeymoon that handles all the stress for you, book this."
